Before you begin
Collect every prerequisite before changing Odoo or a desktop computer.
What you need
□ Odoo 19 Community or Enterprise where custom modules can be installed.
□ A legally obtained Odoo 19 build of printnode_base. It is not included with XiotBox.
□ The purchased xiotbox_lite module and access to Customer Downloads.
□ One Linux host for Runtime + SocketD. For Odoo.sh this separate host is mandatory.
□ One test computer, one printer and the supported official PrintNode desktop client.
□ Administrator access to Odoo, DNS and the Runtime host.

Choose a maintenance window
A fresh installation can normally be prepared without interrupting users. For a migration, stop automated printing while endpoints and printers are being mapped. Keep the former PrintNode subscription active until the acceptance print succeeds.
